I am an M.S. student in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, advised by Professor Devi Parikh in the Visual Intelligence Lab. I received my B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago.
My primary research interests involve artificial intelligence and machine learning as applied to creative media, including visual, audio, and text-based content. Currently I am experimenting with generative neural networks for video synthesis and developing a natural language model evaluating and visualizing salient themes and emotions from text. I am also interested in how AI, data, and computing can be used to help individuals and benefit society.
Previously I led data and strategic initiatives for the College Transition Collaborative, a mission-driven research start-up based out of Stanford University. Before that I worked in consulting at Bain and TNTP.
I am also a multi-disciplinary artist working mainly with digital media, datasets, and algorithms.
